US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton plans to return to work next week after being sidelined for almost a month by a string of medical problems. State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland says Clinton looks forward to returning to her Washington office next week, although a date hasn’t been set.
Clinton was discharged on Wednesday from a New York hospital, three days after doctors diagnosed a blood clot during a follow-up examination stemming from a concussion she suffered in December.

Nuland said, "Some of the senior staff who spoke to her about half-an-hour ago say that she’s sounding terrific, upbeat, raring to go. She’s looking forward to getting back to the office. She is very much planning to do so next week, and we’ll have further precise details about that as she continues to make progress."
