This year the US annual Rose Parade has been held in the coastal Californian city of Pasadena on New Year's Day.
This year marks the 124th anniversary of the Rose Parade. Eight kilometres long, it was led by this year’s rose queen and six rose princesses. There were 42 floats strewn with flowers, 23 marching bands and 21 equestrian units from across the country.
